Business Technology
Constant advancements in technology have opened up a wide field of technology-driven educational services at the College Board, and the growing role of technology and operations has expanded career opportunities in these fields. Our Business Technology team focuses on:
- Developing and managing new software programs for our constituents
- Managing the dynamic online presence of collegeboard.org
- Building and maintaining technology architecture and infrastructure
- Providing shared-services to College Board users throughout the organization

Research and Test Development
The College Board's Research and Development team conducts research, evaluates educational programs and explores trends in education. This division focuses on:
- Researching issues important to the educational community, and to our flagship programs, such as SAT and AP
- Ensuring the validity and reliability of all research
- Providing standards and curriculum consulting services and alignment data to College Board's regional offices, programs and government relations teams
- Evaluating new College Board programs such as SpringBoard and College Board Schools
- Distributing research results through published reports and research notes, as well as at national educational conferences, including the AP Annual Conference and the Conference of the American Educational Research Association
- Managing analysis requests from our constituents and responding to the research needs of our regional offices and government relations department

Relationship Development and Sales
To our constituents, the Region and Account Services teams are the face of the College Board. These dedicated people help educators get the most from our K-12 and higher education programs and services. Among the important activities they undertake are:

- Educating our clients on practices that support our mission of preparing students for college success
- Serving students by helping clients achieve high levels of program and service growth and adoption
