What if the student can’t sign in?

If you see one of these error messages, the student might need to update their account or might not have their correct email address or password:

“Your College Board Account is Locked”

“You’re Locked Out of the App for x Minute(s)”

The student must wait the prescribed time, if any, and attempt to sign in again. After a student has 10 failed sign-in attempts, they will be locked out of the app. If they are unsure of their credentials, allow them to reset them at collegeboard.org.

Students who haven't yet completed the 2022 account migration can follow the onscreen instructions to do so. They’ll need to access the email address associated with their College Board account.
