What if a student’s iPad freezes while it’s locked down?
Force a restart if a student’s iPad freezes after it’s been locked down:
- Press and hold the iPad’s top button and Home button at the same time.
- When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
- If you need to, reopen Bluebook™.
For iPads without Home buttons, force a restart this way:
- Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
- Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
- Press and hold the top button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.
- If you need to, reopen Bluebook.
