Amy Reitz
Senior Vice President, BigFuture
Amy is the senior vice president of BigFuture, leading College Board’s postsecondary planning and higher education enrollment solutions for learners, K−12 schools, and higher education institutions. Big Future provides a comprehensive platform of solutions that bring together a trusted community to help every learner own their future. BigFuture connects the learning that students demonstrate in other College Board programs to the future each student envisions for themself to help them better plan and prepare.
Prior to joining the College Board, Amy led product lines for K−12 college, career, and life readiness programs and higher education enrollment at PowerSchool and Hobsons. With over 15 years of experience in education technology, Amy has developed a passion for helping all learners discover their best-fit pathways and ensuring they have the support they need to be successful. Most of her experience has focused on how to create interconnected ecosystems that optimize across many stakeholder groups to ensure everyone can meet their individual goals while working together toward broader student success.
As the first member of her immediate family to graduate from college, Amy is a strong proponent for ensuring students from all communities have access to college opportunities. As the daughter of an electrician and small business owners, she’s equally committed to supporting all pathways and helping learners understand how their skills and knowledge sets align with education and career opportunities.
Amy earned her BA, MS in finance, and MBA from Indiana University. She’s an avid gardener and lives in Northern Virginia with her wife and son.
