Ana Menezes
Senior Vice President, Learning and Assessment
Ana Menezes leads the Learning and Assessment division to produce insights that accelerate College Board’s work to support students and members.
Ana has spent her career in education. She started as an elementary school teacher in New York City and has since held leadership and strategy roles across the sector. She served as the chief academic officer at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools where she re-envisioned their approach to curriculum and assessments and oversaw the implementation of academic support services. She also was a vice president at TNTP (formerly known as The New Teacher Project). At TNTP she led strategic partnerships to improve educational outcomes for marginalized students and launched the organization’s academic strategy client services division. Ana has a knack for navigating strategic challenges using data and evidence. She brings this wealth of experience to College Board and inspires our team and community to do the same.
Ana holds a BA in political science and communications from Boston College, a Master of Science for Teachers (MST) from Pace University, and an MA in education with a focus on policy, organization, and leadership studies from Stanford University. A native of Brazil, Ana is a big supporter of women’s soccer, particularly her hometown team, Angel City Football Club. She’s based in Los Angeles.
