Matthew Wagner
Interim President
Effective June 2024, Matt is serving as Interim President. Matt is responsible for overseeing Advanced Placement, SAT, all related instructional and assessment programs, BigFuture, Finance, Technology, Operations, International, Risk Management, Legal, and Global Strategy and Talent.
Since joining College Board in 2012, Matt has played a key role in critical enterprise-level initiatives, including the redesign of the SAT, internal and external communications, and strategic planning. Matt served previously as chief of staff at Student Achievement Partners, where he was integral to the development and implementation of the Common Core Standards.
Matt taught high school math in Thornton, Colorado, and is a Teach for America alumnus. Matt earned bachelor’s degrees in government and journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park.
